The Role

As the Business Development Manager, you will report to a supportive and consultative Sales Director who is committed to the success of her team. You will utilise your strategic sales and relationship skills to drive education, brand loyalty, and recognition in existing and new hair salons, and salon distributors.

You will also:
•Build on existing business connections to maximise opportunities
•Drive new business acquisition by identifying key prospects in salons and with distributors
•Train and educate on products to build and engage retail selling teams
•Assist the Director of Sales to identify and create promotions for hair salon clients
•Drive important events beneficial to the brand
•Attend and manage national and international hairs expos to promote and grow brand
•Ensure sales reports are tendered in a timely fashion

The Requirements

•A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in a business development role, in the haircare industry
•Proven experience managing and growing a territory
•You have strong business acumen, and understand the importance of business growth through a well-planned sales strategy
•You are motivated by success, with a passion for driving new business and sales results
•Excellent communication and time management skills
•Previous hairdressing experience is preferred
•Experience in Education or Training is a definite advantage
