The Role
•Manage Key Supplier Relationships and Commercial terms with key vendors for Solar, EV, and Battery •Storage and other dedicated sustainable solution suppliers. Aim to optimise sales and profitability.
•Drive the Marketing Program for the Solar, EV, and Battery Storage in consultation with National Marketing Manager and Category Manager
•Incorporate into a marketing plan, where relevant sustainable products/solutions from other Product categories
•Work closely with Sales Teams and Renewables specialists to ensure a cohesive national plan and direction.
•Manage local product compliance, quality, technical documentation, and distribution.
•Provide a link between category/marketing function & specialist national sales organisation to develop and promote Solar value proposition to existing and new potential customers.
•Develop the strategic sustainable Ecosystem model for the company's Renewables business
•Work closely with the buying and procurement of Renewables inventory to ensure minimal stock obsolescence’s and max stock turns.
The Requirements
•Sound commercial acumen and the ability to develop and implement a strategy in consultation with internal and external stakeholders.
•Autonomously manage a strategy from concept to implementation.
•Be self-motivated and driven, with the ability to influence others.
•Technical aptitude and an understanding of renewable energy market/products and or experience with B2B trade distribution businesses.
•A team player who can collaborate across multiple business functions (Sales, Finance, Masterfile, and Marketing).
•You have an entrepreneurial flair and are currently in a Sales based role looking at expanding into Product Management.
